San Felipe Exes, are proud to have worked alongside the Del Rio Chamber of Commerce to host the movie Ppemier of The Long Game, a film that depicts the true story of the 1957 San Felipe Mustangs and their struggles to win the championship despite facing significant obstacles of prejudice. The movie is based on a novel titled The Mustang Miracle by Humberto G. Garcia, a tribute to the hispanic community and their continued resilience in the face of adversity.

The movie premiered on March 29th and was attended by the actors, writers, and director, as well as members of the public who were eager to see this incredible story brought to life on the big screen.

Following the premiere, a Q&A session was held at the San Felipe Exes Center and Museum, giving attendees the opportunity to learn more about the making of the film and the experiences of those who participated in its creation.
